We warmly congratulate Professor Fangfang Cao on being selected for the 2024 TR35 China list, announced by MIT Technology Review on May 23, 2025, in Shanghai. Professor Cao was selected for her pioneering work in constructing a nanozyme-probiotic system that significantly improves probiotic viability and therapeutic efficacy in the gut, providing innovative solutions for the treatment of intestinal inflammation and colorectal cancer.

First launched by MIT Technology Review in 1999, TR35 is one of the world’s most influential awards for young innovators, celebrating individuals under 35 who are transforming the future of science and technology. The China edition, established in 2017, is the largest and most competitive regional TR35 program, and serves as a key platform for identifying China’s most impactful scientific talents.

Professor Cao’s inclusion underscores her leading position at the frontier of nanobiotechnology and microbiome-based therapies, and reflects international recognition of her original innovations and scientific vision.
