Welcome Chengyi Zhu to the NanoProBio Lab

We are pleased to welcome Chengyi Zhu to the NanoProBio Lab at Beihang University as a direct-entry Ph.D. student of the 2026 cohort.

Chengyi received her bachelor’s degree in Preventive Medicine from Capital Medical University. During her undergraduate studies, she actively participated in several research and innovation projects, primarily focusing on nanozyme-based detection and monitoring of pathogenic bacteria. Through these experiences, she developed solid experimental, analytical, and research-design skills. Demonstrating strong academic potential and dedication to scientific exploration, she has already published two SCI Q1 papers as the second and fourth author, respectively.

In addition to her academic achievements, Chengyi maintained an outstanding overall performance throughout her undergraduate years. She has received multiple scholarships. She also actively participated in academic competitions and received a total of two municipal-level awards and seven university-level awards. Furthermore, she served as the secretary of her class Youth League branch and was honored three times each as an “Outstanding Student Leader” and “Outstanding Youth League Cadre,” reflecting her strong leadership, organizational abilities, and sense of responsibility. Upon graduation, she was honored as an Outstanding Graduate of Beijing, and her undergraduate thesis was recognized as an Outstanding Undergraduate Thesis of Capital Medical University.

Looking ahead, we believe she will continue to explore the interdisciplinary frontiers of nanotechnology, probiotic engineering, and translational biomedicine, and make meaningful scientific contributions in these emerging fields. We warmly welcome Chengyi to the NanoProBio Lab and look forward to her exciting and inspiring research journey ahead.
