A Joyous Gathering: Cao Lab Holds Year-End Dinner

On the evening of December 30, 2025, members of Professor Fangfang Cao’s research group gathered for a year-end dinner to reflect on the past semester’s academic and research journey and welcome the coming new year.

Organized by Professor Cao, the gathering was attended by doctoral students Qirui Wang and Chengyi Zhu, along with master’s student Zhehan Xing. During the dinner, Professor Cao noted the students’ hard work and progress since the beginning of the academic year, particularly commending their positive attitude and collaborative spirit. The students also expressed their gratitude for the attentive guidance provided by their advisor.

The atmosphere throughout the dinner was warm and engaging, with open communication between the mentor and students helping to strengthen the group’s cohesion. The gathering concluded with a group photo, marking a heartfelt end to the research endeavors of 2025.

More than just a casual dinner, it highlighted the supportive and mutually inspiring dynamic within the research group, setting a motivated and hopeful tone for the scientific work ahead in 2026.
